Perth-founded technology consultancy Diversus has celebrated 20 years in business, marking two decades of helping organisations respond to significant change across the technology sector.
Clients, partners, employees, alumni and members of Western Australia's business and technology community joined Diversus at its West Perth head office on Friday, 4 September 2026, to recognise the milestone and the relationships behind its work.
Diversus was established by directors Claude De Lucia and Dien Tang after they identified a need for a consulting company that combined strong technology expertise with genuine care for its clients, their people and their long-term success.
That people-first approach has guided Diversus through two decades of growth and significant change across the technology sector.
“When Dien and I started Diversus, we didn’t set out to build a large consultancy business, we just wanted to do right by the people and clients we worked with,” said Diversus Director and Co-founder Claude De Lucia.
“Twenty years later, that hasn’t changed. The technology is often the easy part; it’s the relationships behind it that we’re proudest of.”
Technology capabilities shaped by industry change
Over the past 20 years, Diversus has worked with organisations of all sizes, from local businesses to some of Western Australia's largest employers. As client needs have evolved, its work has expanded from established consulting and digital transformation services into cloud, cybersecurity, data, artificial intelligence and generative AI.
Today, its capabilities span cloud solutions, data and insights, AI and generative AI, cybersecurity, software development, digital transformation, customer experience, modern workplace and service management. These capabilities help organisations improve how they operate, make decisions, manage risk and support their people and customers.
Diversus strengthens this work through strategic partnerships with leading global technology providers, combining specialist platforms with local consulting expertise. In 2026, Diversus achieved the AWS Generative AI Competency, recognising its capability in helping organisations apply generative AI to practical business challenges.
Growth built around people
While Diversus’ technology capabilities have expanded, its founding principle has remained the same: start with people and focus on practical solutions that create lasting value.
This approach also shapes the employee experience at Diversus. A number of employees have built long careers with the company, contributing valuable knowledge and continuity as the business has grown.
