Diversus is proud of our continuing support of Team Iluka who will embark on the gruelling MACA Cancer 200 ride on 26-27 October 2019. Over two days, the team will ride from Optus Stadium in Perth to Mandurah and back, travelling over 200km.

The MACA Cancer 200 unlike other rides is not a race, it’s an inspirational, community-focused event where people who start as strangers and end as family, come together for an incredible cause.

The funds raised benefit The Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research to fight cancer through medical research. Since 1998, the Perkins Institute has grown to become one of the nation’s leading adult medical research centres, where team of more than 450 research and trial staff work together to defeat the major diseases that impact the community.

The survival rates for many cancers have improved because of medical research.  However, for some cancers the prognosis remains poor. The Perkins Institute is focused on these deadly cancers and those that have a particular relevance for West Australians.
